The Lincoln Center Support League with the support of City of Fort Collins Fort Fund is pleased to be sponsoring their FREE Children’s Summer Series Wednesdays at 10 a.m. during the months of June and July outdoors on The Lincoln Center lawn.
Great for children of all ages, this series features hour-long presentations of comedy, music, culture and fun. Head to The Lincoln Center lawn June 12, 19, 26 and July 10 and 17 to enjoy these five whimsical performances that will entertain both young and old alike. Blankets and sunscreen are encouraged. (Please note: there is no performance on July 3.)
Salida Circus: The Lost Circus (6/12) – This summer series favorite is back with an interactive show in which audience members become circus performers! Featuring juggling, interactive illusions and more. Don’t miss your chance to run away to the circus!
Mad Science: Fire and Ice (6/19) – An exciting collection of scientific demonstrations that will make your brain sizzle! Interact with a Mad Scientist and have fun while learning about chemical reactions, air pressure and the states of matter.
Suitcase Fairytales (6/26) – This delightful and hilarious adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s best-loved fairy tales will captivate audiences young and old with tales of silly emperors, rascally weavers, wild swans, brave princesses and flying suitcases. The audience even gets a chance to make up their very own fairy tale!
The Nacho Men Trio (7/10) – This super fun and high-energy trio combine great vintage rock and roll with costume changes, comedy, celebrity impersonations and lots of audience participation.
Gamelan Tunas Mekar (7/17) – Experience the traditional music and dance of Bali, Indonesia! This performance will feature a welcoming dance, instrumental pieces, a demonstration explaining the instruments and how gamelan music is created.
